"We have 3 boys at home and in sports 10 months out of the year. I was traveling 250 plus days a year for my previous business. As a husband, father, and business owner I began searching for something that would get me off the road allow me more family time. I have been in the service/sales industry for most of my adult life so I knew it had to be something with purpose, it had to be something that could serve my community. As someone who enjoys working out, I found myself asking “Why do I buy my pre-workouts at a gas station, my proteins from Walmart and my creatine from Amazon?” The answer was because there were no other options! Even with substantial growth in our area adding weightlifting gyms, pilates, and CrossFit studios there has been nothing added that supports these places or the local residents on their newfound journeys.

“See a need, fill a need.” -Robots 2005. I found Nutrishop online in my search for a new opportunity, a new life for me and my family. After researching Nutrishop’s products and operations I knew my days of shopping the gas stations for supplements were over. I reviewed everything I could get my hands on. I ordered some protein off the Nutrishop website, talked everything over with my wife, Angie, and we decided to submit a franchise inquiry to gather more information. Within 48 hours we received a phone call from Nutrishop and had a pleasant conversation with a gentleman named Bryon McLendon. We just assumed he was a well-spoken marketing manager who was just doing his daily follow-ups on requests. We were floored, to say the least, when a quick Google search revealed that we were in fact just talking to the CEO of the company! Ever since that phone call, we have been more and more optimistic after every interaction, every phone call, every webinar. The entire Nutrishop community has been amazing, and the culture is infectious in the best of ways. Everyone from the corporate office to the owners and their employees we’ve had the privilege to visit or meet have been so kind and supportive of our journey and welcomed us with full hearts and open arms.

We are honored to be the first ever Nutrishop in the state of Alabama and look forward to being ambassadors of the brand. This is not just a job for us, this is now our life and our family’s livelihood. We shut everything down and went all in on Nutrishop, that’s how much we believe in Nutrishop, the owners, the products, and the culture."
